Volunteering in vocational rehab

Volunteering in vocational rehab

Volunteering is such a great way of working with clients after brain injury to explore their vocational skills, it gives them the chance to be challenged physically, cognitively and psychosocially. It also allows them to try different areas of interest without the commitment of paid work and to build confidence in their own abilities.

  1. Hi Kate, hope you are well. You probably won’t remember me, however, I was a former OT student at Hallam.
I would like to ask; is there a possibility I can volunteer with you for one day during the week. I’m trying to re register with HCPC, however, I need 60 days work experience as I’ve been out of practice for some time..
Currently, I work as a Support Worker, in nurse lead setting.

It would be lovely to hear from you..

    Kind Regards,
    Rozena
