At Rehabilitate Therapy we do absolutely what you would hope to expect from an independent occupational therapy service.  Our community of occupational therapists provides high-quality assessment and  rehabilitation that is resolutely goal focussed and client centred.  But we intentionally go beyond that: both in our enthusiastic and engaging approach and also through various integral (but additional) aspects to our service that are designed to maximise rehabilitation outcomes, and make us refreshingly different.

Our occupation is your potential...

We work collaboratively with our clients to assess their strengths and limitations, and to identify both short-term and long-term goals. Developing client-centred goals is a priority from the outset and throughout the therapeutic relationship, enabling us to deliver flexible, high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy rehabilitation. When appropriate, we adopt a graded approach that progressively challenges clients to build their abilities and maximise their rehabilitation potential.

What conditions do we treat?

We provide specialist assessment and focussed rehabilitation for adults and children that tackle a number of conditions. These include:

Brain injury

Other Neurological Conditions – for example, CP and Stroke

Complex Trauma

Poly Trauma

Orthopaedics

Spinal Cord Injuries

Amputation

Hand and Scar Injuries

Pain

Related Mental Health Conditions

Our primary interventions

Rehabilitate Therapy has evolved from a very specific neuro rehabilitation specialism back in 2008-2012, to a position of expertise right across the scope of occupational therapy. Complex neuro, of course, remains significant in our work with clients, but these days our diverse community of occupational therapists work with many and varied conditions and goal areas – right across the scope of occupational therapy. Across the team, in addition to brain injury and neurological rehabilitation, we have experience in poly trauma, spinal injuries, orthopaedics and mental health. We also routinely provide specialist services in ‘housing, adaptations and equipment’, pain, and hand therapy.
