Our TEAMS

At Rehabilitate Therapy, from the very beginning in 2008, our ethos has been that the OTs we work with are not only excellent clinical OTs, they also need to share our Clinical Director Kate’s philosophy and approach; client centred, goal focussed, tenacious, creative problem solvers, proactive communicators and more. The OTs joining our community are therefore extremely experienced, diverse in many ways, but also carefully hand-picked to match the personality of Rehabilitate Therapy.

Kate’s passion to develop and inspire the next generation of OTs led us to work with a small number of OT students as OT Assistants (OTAs). We quickly discovered the many ways this enhanced not only the rehabilitation progress of our clients, but also the cost effectiveness to referrers, and even opening the door to support workers where needed. Since then, we have recruited a broader community of OTAs to fit the client goals, engaging clients and building strong therapeutic relationships. They are a fantastic asset to our clients, but also our OTs.
